Fall into Reading Challenge 2009

I found another reading challenge for me to join. Oh boy! Happy days!!

This is how the Fall into Reading Challenge works:

This challenge is hosted by Katrina from Callapidder Days. I found the challenge post via Bookmagic.

  1. Make a list of books you want to read (or finish reading) this fall. Your list can be as long or as short as you’d like. (Also, feel free to modify your list during the challenge if it’s not working for you.)
  2. Write a blog post containing your list and link it to this post.
  3. Get reading! The challenge goes from September 22nd through December 20th.
  4. Check out other participants' lists and add to your own to read someday pile.

Write a post about your challenge experience in December, telling us all about whether you reached your goals and how Fall Into Reading went for you. But remember: this is a low-pressure challenge that should be fun. As long as you do some reading this fall and enjoy it!
I have so many books that I've either started and not finished. Or I've bought books and haven't started reading them yet. This is a great way for me to finally finish and start those books. And the best thing is that I don't have to buy any new books!

My Book List:

Books I need to finish:
  • Black Hills by Nora Roberts
  • The Autobiography of Malcolm X by Alex Haley
  • Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris (part of the Sookie Stackhouse Reading Challenge)
  • Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts
Books I've purchased but haven't read:
  • Feminista by Erica Kennedy
  • For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide...by Ntozake Shange
  • Master by Bridget Morrow
  • Club Dead by Charlaine Harris (part of the Sookie Stackhouse Reading Challenge)
  • Dance of the Gods by Nora Roberts
  • Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts
  • Push by Sapphire
  • Say You're One of Them by Uwem Akpan (Oprah's Book Club Selection)
I'm sure I will be adding more to my list. I'm constantly buying books. I feel like I need to have back ups just in case the current book I'm reading bores me.

I'm looking forward to this. Anything that has to do with reading, I get excited.
